I have been playing and singing music for over 15 years now and can say that it is my true passion in life. I started with some friends in high school and have never stopped. Music seems to weave itself into every aspect of my life and helps me to reframe my daily experiences.
I was first introduced to bluegrass music when I was 18 years old and living in Charlotte N.C. Some local cats took me in and opened up my musical mind through the traditional roots of bluegrass. Many years later, I met John who again inspired me to look deeper into this traditional style of music for the answers I was looking for. I am blessed on this journey to have the words and melodies of those who have gone before to guide the way. Although I continue to struggle to incorporate the essentials of the bluegrass tradition into my songwriting style, I am building a foundation to use in the future.
I would like to thank my wife and family for the support they have given me throughout the years. Without their blessing, it would not be possible for me to share my musical gifts with you’all. Thank you for your support and I hope you enjoy the tunes!
