Bluegrass music for your heart, mind, and soul

     Two Hearted consists of five regular guys who happen to dig bluegrass music - we try to tap into the ancient tones of bluegrass with our instruments and voices. Our repertoire consists of a number of classic and progressive bluegrass instrumentals, some interesting vocal numbers, and a smattering of originals.

   Since we have gotten together, we have developed a mutual appreciation for the pioneers of bluegrass interpretation, including Clarence White and The Kentucky Colonels, Muleskinner, John Hartford, Peter Rowan, Jerry Douglas, Hot Rize, and The Tony Rice Unit. We also have a deep respect for the founders of the genre, and find the music of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and Jimmy Martin continually working its way into our consciousness.
 
   We approach Two Hearted as a hobby, as our day jobs and families take priority. We try to practice weekly, and welcome opportunities to play wherever and whenever possible in Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio, so come and check us out!
